The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
